  • Mother Clutcher secondary clutch made for 2019 and newer Can-Am Maverick 1000-R Sport and 2021 and newer Commander 1000R. 

  • PRIMARY UPGRADES: The stainless metal plates bolted next to the button area on the primary clutch prevent buttons from making contact /wearing into the aluminum clutch housing (please see last pic to compare). Can-Am only offered this upgrade on higher-end R/RR models, so that makes this a bolt-on upgrade for your Maverick Sport 1000R.

  • The other primary upgrade is the weights. The weights on the original OEM 1000R clutches use all 6 weight slots, but are low-profile weights that do not contact the rollers when below 2400 rpm, while the engine is at idle. That causes them to bounce around at idle and make a metal-on-metal ticking sound. Our fix for this was to use the same amount of total weight as the original primary, but to do it with 4 thicker weights instead of 6 thin weights so hey make contact with the rollers fully at idle and prevent the annoying tapping sounds. For this reason, you will notice 2 of the 6 weight slots in the clutch are not used. The clutch is still balanced as the two weights not used are directly across from each other, so it does not affect the balance of the clutch.
  • SECONDARY UPGRADES: The rollers are a weak point, so instead of stock rollers this comes with our upgraded HD rollers already in it! Comes fully assembled with the helix, spring, and heavy-duty rollers already installed. This clutch is 100% complete and ready to bolt on and use!

    • 2019-current Maverick Sport 1000R (MUST BE "R" MODEL)
    • 2021-current Commander 1000R
