Mother Clutcher Tied upgrade secondary clutch for models listed. This is a true "tied type" upgrade clutch to bolt-on upgrade and replace the BOSS style that originally came on 2016+ RZR 1000XP. These come with correct splines in them to bolt on and run on ALL 2016 and up Polaris RZR 1000 XP and 1000-S models. Also fits 2016+ Polaris General 1000 & 1000 XP.
For the first time this model comes with round rollers instead of square pucks.
Comes fully assembled with spring and helix already installed and ready to bolt on and use!
EBS SPECS (Engine Braking Specs): The downhill engine braking on this is also a little stronger than what came originally on the 2016+ RZR 1000-XP. The RZR 1000-XP had very mild engine braking from 6-18mph and this brings it up to a medium / moderate amount of engine braking like what already came on 1000-S and General 1000.
IMPROVEMENTS: All 2016 and newer 1000 machines had a BOSS secondary clutch that wears out faster in some areas than this older more proven Tied style design. This is the same style of clutch that came on the 2014-15 XP 1000's and other higher-end models throughout the years. This Tied design has been around a long time and is very well-proven. Upgrading your secondary means less belt/clutch issues, better clutch consistency and performance, and superior performance for the long haul.
