The primary clutch comes with the correct 850 weights and spring pre-installed, and the secondary comes with the helix and spring pre-installed!
This setup retains the engine braking and one-way bearing like the original in the primary clutch. The secondary clutch is just a little milder than the original when the downhill active descent control switch (aka ADC switch) is turned off. You still have good and strong engine braking when the switch is in the on position.
The rpms while driving throughout the drive range stay the same as original with these clutches.

Mother Clutcher clutch set and puller tool made as a OE style Polaris primary (aka drive) clutch specifically for 2006-2008 Polaris Sportsman 700 (all packages including HO, EFI, XP, Touring ETC). Both clutches include a 1-year warranty backed by Harveys ATV Parts.
This setup is the Tied style secondary and EBS/ 1 way bearing primary that came standard on the 2006 Sportsman 700 and 700 EFI models.
Polaris cheaped out in 2007. The 2007 models came with a cheaper design Rapid Reaction secondary and NO bearing at all in the primary clutch. This set also bolt on upgrades the 2007+ models from no bearing on shaft in the primary clutch to a bearing type primary, AND from a Rapid Reaction type secondary to a true Tied style secondary. On 2007+ models these help them engage and shift smoother same way as the 2006 came with the first time around. Some other benefits of going to a Tied style secondary are they are fully rebuildable with a removable helix and are known for providing longer belt life/ being easier on belts.
We have spent a good amount of time testing and revising these clutches before selling them to make sure they have smooth and responsive performance on Sportsman 700s and the reliability and quality of the original parts. Comes correct for ready to bolt on and ride with weights and spring already in primary and helix and spring already in the secondary!

Mother Clutcher aftermarket primary & secondary clutch + primary clutch puller made as a OE style but upgraded for 2011-2014 Polaris Sportman 400 all packages. These clutches are made just for 400, unlike other aftermarket ones I have seen.
The primary clutch looks almost identical to stock but this one is upgraded from no bearing in the center to a 1 way bearing for slightly stronger engine breaking and smoother shifting.
The secondary is upgraded from the cap and snap clip helix design non-rebuildable secondary to the Tied style removable EBS helix in the rear so it's more serviceable and also has smooth EBS engagement.

These come ready to bolt up and use . There is no additional engine braking, it's the same as the Scrambler stock clutches.

The primary clutch had the 2-way bearing like the original setup and stock spec springs and weights are already pre-installed so it's ready to bolt up and use!
The secondary clutch has spring and helix already installed so it's also ready to bolt on and use. There is also an improvement made to the secondary clutch: it has round rollers instead of the square pucks, which prevent the damage on the aluminum nearby that the square pucks cause which greatly prolongs the life of the secondary clutch.

This setup comes ready to bolt up and use. There is no added additional engine braking, the setup is the same as oem Scrambler stock clutches.

The primary clutch has the 2 way bearing like the original setup and stock spec springs and weights are pre-installed so it's ready to bolt up and use!
There are 2 improvements to the secondary clutch vs the original: these have bigger external rollers than the original clutch which provides longer life and less friction. The second improvement is the top of the secondary under the mounting bolt is updated to the style Polaris used on the 2017 and newer models. It's still bolt-on and go on your 2014-2016 models. The only thing you needed is to reuse the stock washer and mounting bolt shown in the picture with the green check mark. The shims and washers with the red X in pics are no longer needed with the new secondary clutch.
